The Britannia is a well appointed Inn in the heart of Sherborne close to Sherborne Abbey. We are able to offer you a choice of rooms when you stay with us. We have a double and family room, both en-suite as well as a single room with sole use of an adjacent bathroom. All rooms have been refurbished to a good standard. Your vehicle can be left in our car park, located at the side of the Britannia. A hearty English breakfast is included in the price of your room with lunchtime and evening meals available. From The Britannia Inn you can take a leisurely stroll around this ancient town to enjoy the history and styles of the architecture, including the Conduit and the two Castles and associated gardens attributed to Sir Walter Raleigh and Capability Brown respectively. There is also the world renowned Sherborne School housed in the abbey's monastic buildings.
